Sign up and first login

This guide walks you through creating a Northwise account, setting up your tenant, and logging in for the first time.
If your organisation already has a Northwise tenant and a tenant-admin has invited you by email, skip to step 4 — you don't need to create a new account, just accept the invitation.
Steps

Go to the sign-up page
Navigate to getnorthwise.com/signup. Choose the plan you want to start with (you can change later). If you're not sure, start with Free — there's no credit card required and you can upgrade at any time.

Enter your email and create a password
Use your work email address. Northwise doesn't support sign-in with Google or Microsoft in v1 — just email + password. Your password must be at least 12 characters.
Use a password manager. Northwise enforces a 30-day idle session timeout on Team and above, so you'll be logging in regularly.

Verify your email address
Northwise sends a verification link to the email you registered with. Click it within 24 hours. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within two minutes — the sender is
noreply@getnorthwise.com.If the link has expired, go to
/loginand click Resend verification email. - 4
Name your tenant
After verification, you'll be prompted to create your tenant. The tenant name appears in the header and in team-facing emails — use your organisation's name or team name (e.g. "Athlon EA", "Platform Team").
The tenant slug (used in internal routing) is auto-generated from your name but you can edit it. It can't be changed later without contacting support.

Complete your profile
Set your display name and your architecture role (e.g. "Enterprise Architect", "Solution Architect"). These appear in reviews and assessment reports.

You're in
You land on your Dashboard. On the Free plan it's sparse — you haven't added any data yet. That's normal. Follow the prompts in the onboarding checklist or jump straight to Inviting your team.
Logging in after the first time
Go to app.getnorthwise.com or click Log in on the marketing site. Enter your email and password. Sessions are cookie-based and persistent within a browser — you won't need to log in again unless you clear cookies or the session expires (30 days of inactivity on paid plans, 7 days on Free).
Troubleshooting
I didn't receive the verification email. Wait two minutes, check spam, then use the resend link on the login page.
I forgot my password. Click Forgot password on the login page. A reset link is valid for one hour.
I'm getting a "tenant not found" error. This can happen if your tenant slug was typed incorrectly. Try logging out and back in — the correct tenant is selected automatically after login.
I want to change my email address. Go to Settings → Profile in the top-right menu. Email changes require re-verification of the new address.
